Brian Evarts is a Data Scientist and Technology Consultant with expertise in Information Technology Systems, Business Process, Data Networking, Databases, IoT, Cyber Security, Risk Assessment & Modeling, Machine Learning, and Modeling Complex Socio-Economic and Business Systems. Prior to joining Unisys Brian worked at Cisco Systems where he performed IT Systems and Security Architecture, Cloud, Big Data Analytics and IoT Platform Design, Sales Strategy, and Business Development for customers across a wide range of verticals. Previously Brian worked at SmithKline Beecham, Wyeth and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Citigroup where he performed IT Support and process design, compliance support, security design, penetration testing, and security incident response. With over 20 years of experience in technology, Brian has experience working in regulated environments and serving customers in the following verticals: Financial, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, and Technology. In addition to working with many large Global Enterprise Companies, Brian has worked with several startup companies in various roles including technology and business consulting, founder, c-level exec, advisor and mentor.

Brian has technical expertise in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, natural language processing, network and graph theory algorithms, python, R, data ingestion technologies, relational databases, SQL, Hadoop, AWS and AZURE cloud platforms, Linux & shell scripting, and various data visualization packages including ZoomData, Tableau, and Power BI.

Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language & Linguistics, and is working towards completing a Master of Science in System Dynamics and Policy Science.
